Sibel Çarabatır’s creative journey brings together two worlds: the precision of engineering and the expressive freedom of art.

After 17 years in the corporate world as an engineer, Sibel founded Cupriart in 2026 to dedicate herself fully to her artistic practice, which began in 2021. 

Combining meticulous craftsmanship with artistic expression, she creates distinctive filography wall art using nails and coloured copper wires.

Inspired byart, architecture, and her travels across Türkiye and four continents, spanning more than ten countries, Sibel explores the interplay of colour, texture, and form to create timeless, handcrafted compositions.

For Sibel, filography is more than decorative art. It is a way to bring character, depth, and understated elegance to living spaces, transforming walls into meaningful expressions of individuality.
